Description
Developed in collaboration with the U.S. Army’s Delta Force, Heckler and Koch designed the 416 assault rifle to be an improved and more reliable alternative to the standard issue M4. Fitted with a piston gas system, it greatly increased the overall reliability of the firearm and the longevity of its parts.  The H&K 417 is the 416’s big brother.  Designed to use the heavier, more powerful 7.62×51 caliber round, the 417 became the ideal designated marksman rifle for many special forces units.
The H&K 417 by VFC is one of the most realistic and accurate replica of the famous battle rifle.  The metal body is covered with officially licensed trademarks and logos from Heckler & Koch.  The gun features a full metal rail system, which is connected to the body. This creates, both, a solid rail system for attachments and a full length top rail for any assortment of optics and sights.  While the H&K 417 is similar to the 416, the main difference is the longer lower receiver and larger magazine that is designed to use the larger caliber round.  The pistol grip is slimmed down and angled slightly to make it more ergonomic to hold in comparison to standard M4/M16 grips. And the stock is designed similarly to its real-counterpart, a modified crane stock design that is slightly longer and features a comfortable, rubber stock pad.  The H&K 417 has ambidextrous front and rear sling mounts and removable front and rear iron sights.
Internally, the H&K 417 by VFC comes with a full metal, 8mm bearing version 2 gearbox. It utilizes metal, self shimming gears that provides crisp and smooth firing and a high quality high torque motor provides a quicker trigger response.  Strong internals, coupled with a full metal construction makes this AEG an ideal choice for players who wish to have a tactical and modern looking gun that can be adaptable to a variety of skirmishing situations. A 6.04 Tightbore barrel is installed from the factory enabling a longer range and better grouping out of the box.
