Description
The Gen 5 is the most impressive Glock from Umarex and VFC we’ve seen. For those who love the gorgeous attention to detail without compromise for quality, this Umarex Licensed Glock 17 Gen 5 is a must have. The external quality is very nice, put side by side with a real steel one you would have difficulty telling the difference. The Gen 5 differs from the Gen 4 mostly in the Grip design. A flared mag well improves handling. The ambidextrous magazine catch (needs to be manually converted if you’re a lefty). The slide catch is also ambidextrous which is a nice touch. The magazine holds 23 rounds and has a different base plate. Both WE and TM Glock magazines will work if trades are not that important to you 🙂
The magazine is also fully traded. The base plate has the Glock logo as well as the round count on the rear. Filling the magazine is therefore a bit different than a traditional magazine. You’ll need to push the button to slide the base plate forward in order to fill the magazine. Just like the real Glock 17, this model does not feature a safety, there is still the double trigger safety built in to make sure your finger is fully on the trigger.
This VFC GBBP Model comes with an extended inner barrel and includes the stock inner barrel as well. They have an adjustable hop up and features semi auto firing mode with no safety switch.
