The VFC VR16 SOPMOD RIS II is based on the real steel version of the USSOCOM program, the SOPMOD II. It’s aim was to provide a more specialized rifle platform for special forces within the U.S. This rifle is the product of that program. VFC has done an amazing job replicating the real SOPMOD II, from the iron sights used to the officially licensed Daniel Defence Rail Interface System II Rail which is CNC’d and made with aluminum, finished in flat dark earth. The dual tone of this model give it a unique look and the 12.25″ RIS ensure ample rail space for accessories and even a 40mm launcher if needed. The 600m front and rear flip up sights complete the authentic look of this model.
Self shimming gears ensure your gun is running as smooth a possible. A 380mm inner barrel give the gun a good balance between mid to long range effectiveness. The 6 position extendable tan stock fits the battery and allows you to adjust the length of rifle so it fits you comfortably. Included in the package is a 120 round mid capacity magazine.
To adjust hop up, simply pull the charging handle back to open the dust cover. This model also has a functional bolt catch so you can adjust your hop up without holding the plate back. Simply press the bolt release to cover up the hop up. A triple pointed sling adapter enables ambidextrous mounting. This rifle is perfect for indoor and outdoor engagements and has plenty of room on the quad rail for lights and a grip!
